What we collect

  • Contact details: name, email, phone, school/grad year (when provided).

  • Appointment info: date/time, service type, notes, forms you submit.

  • Payment info: processed securely by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).

  • Communications: emails, texts, call notes.

  • Website data: IP, device, pages viewed, form submissions, cookies/analytics.

How we collect it

  • Website and landing-page forms, Meta lead forms, and in-studio forms.

  • Online booking (Acuity Scheduling).

  • Payment pages (Stripe).

  • Calls, emails, and texts (Dialpad).

  • Advertising and analytics tools (e.g., Meta/Instagram, Google).

How we use it

  • To book and manage sessions, send confirmations and reminders, deliver galleries, and provide customer support.

  • To process deposits and purchases.

  • To send service updates and (for clients/leads) occasional promotions.

  • To improve our site, ads, and services.

SMS/MMS texting program

By providing your mobile number, you agree we may send SMS/MMS about scheduling, reminders, booking links, deposit follow-ups, and occasional promotions for existing clients. Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to end messages at any time.

  • Help: Reply HELP or email info@davillier.com.

  • We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing.

Lawful basis & choices

  • We process your data with your consent, to perform a contract (your booking/purchase), and for legitimate interests (running our studio and ensuring appointments happen).

  • You can update your info, opt out of marketing emails, or stop texts (see Opt-out above).

Sharing & processors

We share data only as needed with service providers who support our business, such as:

  • Website & CRM (Squarespace/Google Workspace/Sheets)

  • Scheduling (Acuity Scheduling / dpgbooking.as.me)

  • Payments (Stripe)

  • Communications (Dialpad for calls/texts; email providers)

  • Ads/Analytics (Meta/Instagram, Google)

These vendors process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

Data retention

  • Client records and invoices: typically 7 years (for tax/accounting).

  • Lead inquiries: up to 24 months from last activity, unless you ask us to delete earlier.

  • Text logs: retained per our carrier/comms settings and legal requirements.

Cookies & analytics

Our site and booking pages may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate for a small studio and require our processors to safeguard your data. No method is 100% secure.

Children

Our services are directed to students and their parents/guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent.
